Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were perfect, offering everything you need and a few extras too, and they were spotlessly clean. The service was top-notch, and the location was excellent, just on the edge of the village with easy access in and out, allowing me to walk to all the main venues in Olney. The dining experience was too generous with goodies from the chef, and the facilities were amazing. However, the Creaky floors and thin walls were a minor inconvenience and the box of buffet items at £15 seemed a bit overpriced.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms had a cozy fifties boarding house feel, impeccably clean, and well-equipped, with a lovely surprise of a complimentary bar of chocolate that made my daughter extremely happy. However, the location wasn't exactly ideal for me, although it is in a very quiet and pretty village, perfect for solo travelers seeking a convenient retreat before a business appointment in the area. The dining experience, while requiring a 24-hour advance order and an extra £10, was exceptional, offering a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, and a delicious cooked breakfast. The facilities met my expectations with everything well-maintained and functional.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although a bit small and smelled damp, had limited space for luggage and extras. The service was friendly, but there were some issues with dampness in the room. The location was convenient for solo travelers seeking a retreat but had some drawbacks like creaky floors and poor sleep quality. Dining had some limitations with breakfast needing to be pre-booked, but the delivered breakfast was excellent. Overall, it offered a convenient experience in a lovely village setting.
My stay at the hotel was an interesting mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were perfect with everything I needed and some extra touches, but the size might not be suitable for a double occupancy and the access through a fire escape ladder was quite challenging with my luggage. The location was excellent, allowing me to walk to all the main venues in Olney, although the room I was in felt cold and dull. The dining experience was superb, with a variety of fresh options available, but the need to order in advance for a cooked breakfast at an additional cost was a slight inconvenience.
The room was nice and cute, perfect for a solo traveler, although it had a slightly unpleasant odor, possibly from the carpet. Despite feeling damp, it was well-appointed with all necessary amenities and even a bonus chocolate bar on the tea tray.
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were perfect, offering everything I needed and more, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. However, the room felt a bit small considering the price, and sharing the lobby with other rooms impacted privacy. There was a slight odor present, possibly coming from the carpet, but aside from that, it was a cute room for a solo traveler in a lovely town.
